ADCA Updates
The Deal Winter Greens Market was a huge success! We SOLD OUT of all trees, greenery, and poinsettias, raising a lot of funds for Deal programming!
Huge thank you to the Organizing Committee and Managers on Duty, including Amanda Provost, Greg Chaney, Mary Gorman, Monica Ashar, Stanley Harris, and Anita Sharma. Thank you to all of the volunteers who braved the elements - adults and students alike - to sell trees, chainsaw/load them, sell Gear, sell warm beverages. We could not do it without our Deal community! Special shout-out to Deal alum Owen Kunce who worked all day, all four days of the market, as well as to the custodial and security teams. Thanks to all who came and purchased items!
The Deal Student Entrepreneur fair was also a huge hit. It was amazing to see the creativity of our students. Thank you to Virginia Arrisueno for organizing!
Next up: Planning continues for the Deal Spring Gala! Last year, we re-started the Deal Gala after several years hiatus since Covid. We have many learnings, vendors, and playbooks now in place to continue this year. We are looking for interested parents/caregivers to make this event a success. This is our second largest fundraiser of the year after our Fall Campaign and is critical for funding Deal programming. Want to learn more or raise your hand?
