Clap Our Students Back to School

Mayor Bowser, in partnership with the Council, has initiated a "Clap Our Students Back to School" event for Monday morning.  

At schools across the city, parents, neighbors, and supporters will gather from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM to greet our students and clap our kids back, surrounding them with encouragement and positive energy.   

Let's show our kids and the world that we are about love and community.
