Common Student Expectations
Students are expected to follow the Neal Rule - Be where you are supposed to be, when you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to do. Students who are out of location will receive a school consequence.
Students are not permitted to have cell phones, air pods, or smart watches during the school day. All electronics must be placed in students’ Yondr Pouches.
Students should arrive to school by 8:30 am so they can be in class by 8:45 am. Students are considered late to school at 8:50 am
Students have 4 minutes to transition between classes. Tardiness is not permitted.
Students must have a hall pass written in their Deal agenda to leave class.
Students’ backpack must remain in their lockers between 8:45 and 3:15.
Locker times are before/after school and before/after lunch.
We do not permit horse play in any part of our school. Students are expected to walk in the halls/stairwells.
Our goal is to help students interact with the learning environment and school community in positive, responsible and productive ways. All DCPS schools are guided by Chapter 25.
