New parents for Deal LSAT

The Deal LSAT has two openings for parent members to serve two-year terms starting Fall 2026. The group meets monthly (lately, online, first Friday of the month 7:30-8:30am) and discusses academic and other matters of relevance to the School. It is also heavily involved in putting together the School's Comprehensive School Plan in the fall and the budget in the spring, and often takes the lead in budget advocacy. You can refer to the minutes from past meetings, here: https://www.alicedealmiddleschool.org/lsat.

The LSAT is a DCPS mandated group: "The Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) is a group of elected and appointed members that exists for every DCPS school. The team (formerly the Local School Restructuring Teams) consists of parents, teachers, non-instructional school staff, a community member, and in some cases students, to advise the principal on matters that promote high expectations and high achievement for all students."
