Deal Debate
Over the weekend, the debate team participated in a VIRTUAL Public Forum debate tournament with 51 high schools and middle schools in attendance. Of the 700 participating students, Deal students recognized with outstanding results include:
Bianca Curry and Hanah Lopez were undefeated and ended in seventh place overall.
As well, Sam Fleischer, Evelyn O’Flaherty-Horr, Julia Beitler Leoni and Rose Wilkins finished with winning records and earned a leg toward qualification for the metro-final tournament in March.
