High School Night @ Deal (10/28)

Preparing for high school is the most exciting part of working with 8th grade students! Whether we're learning interesting content, growing our independence and executive functioning skills, or learning how to overcome challenges, this is certainly a time of growth.

Looking forward to our students' next big adventure, please mark your calendar for: High School Night @ Deal.

Deal will host an in-person High School Night Wednesday, October 28 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. This event is a great opportunity for families to learn about the many, strong high school options available to our 8th graders.

The event will include both a general session and an opportunity for families to hear more from specific schools in break-out sessions. Families will learn about the application process with MySchoolDC.org and learn more about specific high school programs, including our wonderful feeder school: Jackson-Reed High School. Spanish-language interpretation will be available for families.
