NJHS Update

Are you a Deal MS student who completed an application to the National Junior Honor Society, but you have NOT yet accepted a Canvas invitation to join the program? If so, please enter your Canvas Dashboard to look for any pending invitations from the National Junior Honor Society. You must accept the invitation in order to begin submitting the tasks that are required for receiving this honor at the end of this school year. If you decline the invitation, this means that you are no longer interested in participating and you will not be considered for this academic honor.

If you are a current 8th grader who was inducted last year, you must complete all the requirements AGAIN (this time via Canvas) in order to be honored again as an 8th grader. If you have any questions about this process, please email Ms. Garcia at maria.garcia@k12.dc.gov.
