Our Outgoing Board Member “Promotions”
As we transition to the new school year we would like to express our deep gratitude for our departing board members and committee leads and wish their kids well on their high-school journeys:
Amanda Provost (Co-President): Amanda served for three years co-leading the ADCA. Under her leadership, many beloved traditions from the pre-pandemic days, such as Deal International Night and the Deal Gala and Auction, were revived. She also revamped the portfolio of other events, including the Winter Greens sale, to balance fundraising efficiency with community building, and recruited a broad set of ADCA committee leads.
Andrea Smith (Co-Treasurer): Andrea also served for three years on the ADCA board. Thanks to Andrea for cleaning up our chart of accounts, onboarding a new accounting firm, establishing a money market strategy, and providing valuable institutional knowledge. Andrea’s steady, positive and can-do demeanor were also well appreciated.
Pam Santos (VP Communications): The woman behind the ADCA Weekly Round-Up and all other communications for these past two years - though you may have not met Pam you have heard from her many times! Thank you to Pam for her creative visuals, her succinct and positive messaging, and her contribution as a volunteer at many Deal events.
Alexis Hill-White (Secretary): Alexis served for two years on the ADCA board. We are grateful for her keeping us in compliance with our bylaws and being a trusted and thoughtful voice on school-wide decision making. Alexis also led an effort to codify and organize our institutional knowledge via establishing our non-profit data architecture. Thank you Alexis!
Dr. Stanley Harris (VP Events): A big thank you to Stan for stepping up in his last year at Deal for a one year term as VP Events. Stan helped us to document our event playbook as well as getting into the details with trips to Costco. Stanley was also our link to the educational community more broadly in the district via his many other board and advisory roles.
Keri Sikich (LSAT Chair): Thank you to Keri for her steady hand, ability to listen to many stakeholders, and insightful leadership. Keri also held a leadership role on the ADCA board previously which makes this a double thank you.
A heartfelt thank you to Shaune Gokey for leading and revamping Deal Gear and Kenli Okada for his service on the LSAT. You will be missed!
Note: These board members wrapped up their terms on June 30, 2026. The Alice Deal Community Association (ADCA) welcomes and appreciates all volunteers! If you are interested in getting involved in ADCA for the upcoming school year, we have many small and large ways that you can jump in. Email adcapresident@gmail.com to learn more. Thank you!
