Our Outgoing Board “Promotions”
As the ADCA fiscal year comes to an end we would like to express our deep gratitude for our departing board members and committee leads:
Roger Fernandez (Co-President): Roger served for two years co-leading the ADCA board. Not only did Roger problem-solve at the strategic level, he was also always the first one to lend a helping hand and was a tireless cheerleader for the school.
Randy Huggins (Co-Treasurer): Randy served for two and a half years on the ADCA board. Thanks to Randy for cleaning up our chart of accounts, onboarding a new accounting firm, establishing a money market strategy, and keeping us all in check!
Becca Ruiz (VP Events/New Family Liaison): You have probably seen Becca at many a Deal event, as she has been the “face” of the school. Now that her 3 children have graduated, we’re hoping we can lure her with some special projects, but are so grateful for her dedication to Deal!
Liz Stuart (LSAT Chair/ADCA Liaison): Liz may hold the record for longest service to the Deal with a total of 5 (!) years serving in PTA Officer or LSAT leadership roles. Thank you to Liz for her steady hand, ability to listen to many stakeholders, and insightful leadership.
Dorina Bekoe (VP DEI): Dorina served for 3 years on the ADCA board. We are grateful for her monthly We Are Deal communications as well as her outreach to many communities within Deal. Dorina was indeed a thoughtful and trusted voice on school-wide decision making.
A heartfelt thank you to Danielle Burwell for leading for Hospitality & Staff Appreciation, Amy Ward-Meier on Dine-Out for Deal, and Daniel Okonkwo for acting as Sports Liaison, and April York for her service on LSAT. You will all be missed!
Be a Deal Hero for 2025-2026!
