Shakespeare @ Deal
All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are interested in participating in this year's one-hour version of Hamlet, should sign up HERE. Auditions will begin this week. The audition schedule will be emailed to families with interested students.
Students should be prepared to present one of the speeches attached here. Memorization is helpful but NOT required. Auditions will also include group exercises and call backs will determine final casting.
Rehearsals will begin on January 23 and performances will be March 16, 17 and 18. Full commitment is required for the rehearsal period. Students must be available to rehearse 3 days per week (no exceptions).
The theme of our production will be DC and White House Politics as a backdrop to the action of the play. We can't wait to dive into this classic with you. Feel free to reach out to adcatheatre@gmail.com with any questions.
