Speech and Debate

This weekend, the speech and debate team competed in their third tournament of the year at George Marshall High School in Falls Church, VA.  The following students were recognized for their outstanding results:

  • Sathvik Dutta-Gupta received the top speaker award out of 278 speakers in the high school Novice division.  

  • The team of Bianca Curry and Malda Dilargachew finished with a 3-1 record, also in the Novice high school division. 

Congratulations to all the debaters who experienced growth by competing in the high school divisions or attending their first tournament.  Thank you to Mr. Stroud for his hardwork.
