This week is Spirit Week at Deal!
Which grade has the most school spirit? Students can earn points for their grade level by dressing up each day.
All spirit week outfits must be school appropriate and follow all school rules.
Monday 11/17 - Pajama Day (Pjs must be school appropriate)
Tuesday 11/18 - Deal Gear/Colors (Show Deal spirit with your Deal gear or wear red and gold)
Wednesday 11/19 - Students Dress like a Teacher/Teacher Dress Like a Student Day
Thursday 11/20 - Jersey Day
Friday 11/21 - 2000s Day
Food Drive Competition
During this season of giving, grade levels will also compete this week to see which grade can donate the most non-perishable food items for our Deal Food Drive. Students will be directed where to place their donations at morning entry. Each canned or boxed good will earn their grade level 1 point. Please check expiration dates and please no ramen or glass containers!
Grade Level Dances
Students have asked for more school dances so this week is their opportunity to dance the afternoon away! All dances will be held in the cafeteria from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and students may only attend the dance for their grade level. The dance is free to attend! Snacks will be on sale.
