Congratulations to the 10 delegates who attended DistrictMUN’s first two-day conference for middle schoolers, held at Georgetown University on Saturday and Sunday. Delegates participated in the committees of the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development, the UN Environmental Agency, World Health Organization, KathmanDoom Crisis Committee, the 1919 Paris Peace Summit, and the Joint Crisis Committee between Guyana and Venezuela. More than 250 delegates from around the country (and internationally!) participated in this conference! Deal delegates were impressive in their committees—speaking in committee, leading blocs, and presenting resolutions (including Q&A!)! A special shout out to the delegates who earned awards:
