Indigenous Peoples' Day | No School for Students

Indigenous Peoples’ Day occurs every second Monday of October, honoring the vibrant cultures, rich histories, and enduring resilience of Native American people.  In recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the rich histories, diverse cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. This day provides an opportunity to learn about Indigenous communities, recognize their enduring presence, and celebrate their influence on our nation’s history and future.
