Message from Principal Neal

We had a fantastic first week of school.  It has been great to see our students back in classrooms, engaged in learning.  

All Deal students will take their Beginning of Year math and reading assessments over the next two weeks during extended first period.

  • i-Ready | September 2 - 4; 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math (the Deal Math Acceleration Policy is attached.)

  • MAP Math | September 2 - 4; Algebra I and Geometry

  • MAP Reading | September 9 and 10

If students are not able to finish their math or reading BOY assessment during the scheduled time, they will be able to finish in their math or ELA class.
